If you were a super hero / super heroin would you want to keep who you are a secret? Who you show yourself for who you are like the Fantastic 4 or would you keep your identity a secret like Spiderman? I have thought about it and I don't know what I would choose. I was thinking I might want to keep it a secret to protect everyone around me, plus myself, but I doubt I could keep it from everyone. With something that cool you would just have to shair it, so what would you do?

I would totally keep it on the DL. I mean, what if I screwed up, and somebody got hurt? Everyone would blame me. Or what if the bad guys wanted to steal my girlfriend and suspend her a hundred fifty feet in the air in a taxi cab? Much easier if they just don't know who I am.
On the other hand, you can't keep it from everyone, otherwise your parents would think you were sneaking out hooliganising and your spouse would think you were having an affair. Besides, if anyone saw your cool little jumpsuit in the washing machine, what would you say? That you were starting an 80's garage band? I can see so many things going wrong with that.
P.S. I made a movie reference in that last comment there. I don't really have a girlfriend. Just saying.
its a hard decision, if you go public you are risking everyone close to you, and at the same time you're losing any privacy you've ever had. On the other if you keep it a secret you still can't get too close to your friends because you need to be available to do your superhero acts. So its the choice between a life of no privacy or a life of complete isolation.
I have to agree with Lindsay's answer. Going public is risking to much. Plus I like my private life. Even if I was famous I'd want a fake name just to protect my private life.
